Aisha Al-Naama

I’m a Qatari student in Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar of class 2011. Currently majoring in Graphic design. I chose to participate in the Synapse problem seeking class for two reasons. I decided to first join this class for the fact that researching and problem seeking is one of my main interests as a graphic design student, especially when it deals with relating to the Qatari context. The other reason why I chose to be in the Synapse class is because I’m interested to work with students from other disciplines, and work with different styles of research and communication. I believe that Interacting with people from different disciplines would enhance my learning and provide me with a more complete approach to design.

Daring Expressive Accepting Nurturing Noble ArtisticI'm a dreamer... with bright blue-green eyes and a charming smile. I captivate people with my rambling babbles and intrigue them with my ripening sense of humor. I'm student by day and an evil master mind at night (plotting to take over the world one stare at a time). Also, I’m a senior fashion design major and a exchange student at VCU-Q. I have the luck of the Irish, the art of the Dutch, the strength of the Scots, the beauty of Indonesia, and the elegant grace of the english... plain and simply, I'm me. A girl with big dreams and an empty wallet (bills... who would’ve of thought). I laugh, I cry, I sing, or bust a move in the library when I think no one’s watching (I love to dance). But when all is said and done, I'm an artist and that in itself tells you everything there is to know about me.
